15th North American Regional Conference |

The 15th North American Regional Conference was held in Chicago in October of 2003. Regional Conferences are held in every region every few years for educational and cultural purposes. This event provided an opportunity for the exchange of new ideas that promote further enthusiasm for Ikebana. Over 300 members from North America and overseas attended the event. An exhibition, demonstrations and workshops were featured. |

The Annual Chapter Exhibition was held in Lisle, Illinois at the Morton Arboretum. The event featured exhibits by Members, Demonstrations and a Children’s Corner. This exhibit showcases member talents and is a way to educate the public and the promotes the Art of ikebana. |

Chicago Chapter #27 celebrated their 45th Anniversary Celebration at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus, Oakbrook, Illinois. The Event Program focused on the Chicago Chapter and their role in weaving the art of Ikebana into the cultural fabric of the Chicagoland area over a 45 year span. The program featured two local artists that blend the Japanese Art of Ikebana into the western culture of the Chicagoland area. |
